The single screw press, also known as a screw dewatering machine, screw squeezing dryer, screw extrusion dewatering machine, or screw pressing dehydrator. It is a continuous-operation device designed for liquid extraction from organic materials and solid-liquid separation of inorganic residues. This juicing and dewatering machine represents our company’s third-generation extrusion separation technology. It is not merely a simple upgrade of traditional extrusion separators but a revolutionary redesign. The screen mesh does not clog and imposes no requirements on feedstock concentration, viscosity, hardness, astringency, particle size, or fiber length—it processes any material without selection. The press operates stably, smoothly, and continuously with low failure rates, minimal maintenance costs (due to non-force, protective extrusion of the screen), and exceptionally high juice extraction and dewatering rates, outperforming any other press or centrifuge on the market. For certain fruits and vegetables, the juice yield reaches 85%, and it uniquely supports juicing with pits intact. Working Principle
The screw press operates on the principle of incremental compression, utilizing the coordinated action of the feed hopper, screw, screen mesh, and discharge cone. Material is evenly fed into the inlet via a pump or auger. As the screw rotates, it compresses the material while liquid passes through the screen into a collection tray below. Dehydrated residue is discharged via a conveyor belt.
